I finally finished compiling the lecture material for the Microgravity curriculum I'm putting together.... 119 pages. Of just lecture material. Not counting the lessons and handout sheets, etc, that I still need to put together. Or the PawPoint slides I'm trying to decide if I need to put in there. But that's ok... the lecture stuff is done.
Actually... I had a really good Christmas. Spent lots of time with family (both mine and Chad's)... took some time off of work... sang happy songs... got cool stuff... give some really killer gifts that people liked a lot (don't think I screwed up anyone's present this year)...
And now I'm back at work... for a half day, at least. But I can't do any of the work I was intending to do.... as ::Strongbad voice:: NASAexplores is down, yo ::/Strongbad voice:: 5ux0r5.
to what end do we proceed so boldly if all we are is chemical reactions and what world have you deftly sold me if you reduce me
if I have no soul to touch no heart to love no evil to rise up above no angels and no ghosts no real victories to toast if you believe that this is true then I must ask to what end do you proceed -- Thrice
Guess what! "El Noticiero de NASA" is featuring the k-4 History of Flight crossword puzzle (one of the ones I did that was on the Portal) in their next issue...
My job was just bought by another company. So, as of sometime after the 1st of the year, I will no longer be working for CSC... I will either be unemployed, or working for SAIC.
Proves to be somewhat interesting, at the very least...
I slept until like, 10am this morning. It was wonderful. When I got up, breakfast was ready... (actually.. that's probably what got me up)
S... plans for the day. Either: a) Prune trees all day long (need to find climbing shoes... don't think I can do it in boots) or b) work on my sewing/ other indoes stuff all day (I can stay in my jammies for this one!) We'll see what Daddy feels up to.
So I'm done with all my Christmas shopping... Except I should pick up some candy or something for my roommate. fyi: have new roommate since October... her name is Kristin, and she's from Noxapater, MS. She looks like Skipper. Other than that, all I have to do is wrapping. Which I would have gotten done today, except, I left my scissors at Chad's apartment. Doh.
I'm so jealous of Chad's present(s). At least I have the knowledge that eventually I will get to play with them too... Maybe. If he lets me. I'm having to fight really hard not to play with them now... :-)
Looking for cool toys for that special someone on you're list (like me?): Think Geek r0x0r5. Just thought you'd like to know :-)
Anyway... that's it for the moment.... I really should be like, doing homework or something. I don't have any class tomorrow... Yay!
So I patched the comments thing to work in Mozilla (since that's what I use...)...
And in the process lost all my comments. Bummer. Maybe Krys will figure out a way to get them all back. But then again, he's a busy person... so I'm not holding my breath.
So yeah. Here I am. Like, a week and a half from the end of the semester. Very very close to finishing. Very very ready to finish.
I got a really cool really fast new laptop! 2.4 gHz, 512 RAM, 30 gB hd... It's nice. Thanks to Chad, who's financing this endevor into technology. :-)
This means, though, that i may have more itme to blog, as I can plug in during class and stuff. Which is cool.
Anyway. That's it for hte present moment. I have blogged ;-)
