I was almost eaten by a giant spider today. Let me explain… no, there is too much. Let me sum up… It’ super bowl Sunday, so I go to Brian’s room to watch the game, as he has a big TV and doesn’t mind me bringing homework. As we’re sitting there, waiting for the commercials, Brian gets the horrified look and yells "Get up!! Get up NOW!!" I jump up to see this gigantic spider on the bed, right next to where my leg had been. I swear, that thing was as bigger than a quarter… and it was fuzzy!! It’s the fuzzy ones that kill you… So Brian grabs a cup, and puts it over the spider… And it was a jumping spider!!! (I can deal with spiders… for the most part. But hairy jumping spiders are just a little to much) Luckily, it jumped in the cup, which I helped Brian put paper over and carry outside… But when we went back after the game, the spider had escaped the cup… it’s loose somewhere, and prob’ly mad as hell.
A funny note to add: After this, we had the rearrange Brian’s entire room (we moved everything but the computer desk) so that his bed wouldn’t be near where the spider had been.
Nothing terribly interesting to say about the super bowl… good game, though. Budweiser had some awesome commercials :-)
My mother told me I’ll be home over spring break… which I had guessed, but it’s nice to know for sure. It means I can work… earn some money… help my sister excavate her room… maybe go shopping someplace that isn’t Wally World *grin* And I’ll have the opportunity to see all my still-in-high-school friends (there’s only one year of them left)… and maybe hang out with my brother’s friends, too. For being a brother, my brother is not all that bad… he’s actually kinda cool, in a high-school-sophomore kind of way :-) And his friends think I’m awesomely cool, and really pretty, too. (this is always a plus) *grin* I imagine that his friends opinions stem more from the fact that I’m a "college girl" than anything else… but that’s ok :-)
