Keeping Mum I finally finally got around to renting and watching Keeping Mum. I was kind of worried about it, as I thought that Rowan Atkinson might bring some kind of Mr. Bean silliness to the movie, counteracting the amazing acting ability of Maggie Smith.
However, I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was very cute in a British-comedy Arsenic-and-old-lace kind of way. And Rowan Atkins was slightly less silly than I expected.
I'd give it four out of five, with it not being five out of five only because 1) Rowan Atkinson was still kind of silly, and 2) Patrick Swayze is looking really old.
Other random movie comments: I didn't figure out the plot-twist until Maggie Smith's character said it out loud... Chad made fun of me for this, as he had it figured out from the first. Also, beware that this is a British movie, including some nudity (although nothing worse that what you'd find in Monty Python's Flying Circus).
This is my brain..... in part, at least.
