You're crazy for believing I don't care Dear Microsoft,
You know what makes me mad?
Web pages that resize my browser window. Honestly, there's no reason for it. The desktop, and thus the size of the windows on it, is owned by the user. What if I had my screen resolution set to 800x600 or something lame like that? You would have just resized my window to something that overflowed my screen, in all directions. Do you have any idea how annoying that is?
Do me a favor. Hire some real usability people. Please. And while you're at it... provide me with some reasonable way to make Office 2007 look more like a it used to, and less like it was designed by someone who had never used a WIMP interface.
While the newest Microsoft system (Media Center 2005) looks interesting... it has it's critics... and I don't think we're gonna buy it because it will be insanely expensive. And while I'm sure Chad and I could find a use for it (Mythbusters burned to DVD comes to mind).. . not sure I want to pay for it. I wonder what the chances are that it'll be added to the Academic Alliance site... Prolly not too great.
Dude... I just discovered that I can make PDFs from OpenOffice... without having Adobe Acrobat. Open Source software r0x0r5.
On the other hand, WebCT sucks, because it only is supported by IE. I hate Microsoft. They support crappy programming. We'll see what Dr. Dampier has to say about it today. Grr.
